I've posted this 👇 before
This was revealed on Barney Miller in 1981. Predictive programing hidden in plain sight, as per usual. Front running the truth with the "conspiracy theory" labels.
That script was greenlit on a comedy show, they knew they could flaunt it, and no one would believe it. 🤔

Apex predator, my ass. I’m going to pet the dog 🐻🐻❄️🐼
perhaps now is a good time for some responsible bear programming to remind everyone that as cute and cuddly as they may seem, bears are lethal apex predators and should absolutely be treated accordingly if ever encountered.

Science Journalism / Writing / Communication Master's Programs 2025 Guide
I did an MS in Science Journalism, and I did a lot of research into them, so here is an updated basic guide. If you're interested, check them out and put their application dates on your calendar. Apply to multiple so you can play their scholarships against each other. That's very important--it could mean the difference between a lifetime of intense financial pressure under building compound interest, and being wealthy enough to own a house! Just for a few emails of negotiations!
Green=FREE! Free ≠ easy or standardless! In fact, free programs can be even harder to get into!
Science Communication MS *NEW!* Location: Hochschule Ansbach in Germany (All classes in English) Price: Tuition-Free! Even for International students! Length: 3 semesters
Science Writing Master's *BEST IMO!* Location: MIT in Cambridge (near Boston) Price: They PAY YOU to go! I've heard the average student profits $40k by going! (Which, of course, will go to living expenses for the year.) Length: 2 semesters (Full disclosure: I didn't go here, but you could say I'm biased in favor of MIT because they're publishing my book. That said, I already believed this was the best program when I saw they pay you to go. Also, MIT is a pretty respectable institution.)
Science Communication Master's Location: UCSC in California Price: $15k for CA residents, $30k for out-of-state. Might be worth living in CA for a year or establishing residence some other way for the discount. (More details) Length: 3 quarters (similar to 2 semesters, roughly a school year)
Science Journalism Master Classes (non-credit) Location: Remote online Price: Free! Thanks to the Kavli Foundation Length: Flexible Note: This one is without any sort of application process, so yes you can do it without experience or quitting your job or moving! The rest are full-time, selective, more traditional mostly in-person programs.
Science Writing MA Location: Remote online via Johns Hopkins University Price: They won't say Length: 16-36 months
Science, Health, and Environmental Reporting Location: NYU in New York Price: They won't say, but I think something like $50k-$100k Length: 3 semesters
Science Journalism MS Location: Boston University Price: $65k Length: 1 Year (Doesn't matter, it doesn't exist anymore. This is the one I attended.) More that I haven't looked into! NOTE: All of these have scholarship options so their prices may actually differ. That's why you should apply to more than one. However I really appreciate that some are free for all students that get in, so you don't have to worry.

"children don't need to learn phonics"
"children don't need to memorize their multiplication facts"
look I'm not saying these ideas come from the same place but I'm not NOT saying it, y'know?
#I'll talk to 3rd graders n they'll be like 'oh yeah we talked about multiplication in the begining of the year but we moved on pretty quick'#the ONLY thing i remember about being in third grade is learning multiplication (and needing to get glasses lol)#it's at the point where if i assess a student in grades 3-8 and they DON'T struggle with multiplication im pleasantly surprised#educational program designers be like 'im bad at math..... what if EVERYONE was bad at math?'

I don't remember if you answered this question, but did you go to art school or are you self-taught? Have you studied from YouTube videos?
nah, I never did art school. I learned a few things from books when I was a kid and got signed up for a short summer art class one time, since I was thinking about being a professional artist and my parents were trying to help me along. I learned how to use digital art programs from tutorials when I was a teenager, but I haven't used tutorials much besides that. pretty much everything I know has been from observing other artists online and experimenting. so yeah, I guess that means I'm self-taught, haha.
I went to school for music and vocal performance, but I could tell a long story about the university I went to, how they weren't really qualified to train musicians and how I dropped out. I've already been working professionally as a performer for 7 years, working with a private teacher and as a teacher myself, and I have tons of experience that I never would've gotten at school, so it's all working out really well.
#this is a tirade but I think that college singing programs are generally pretty flawed#there are educational elements to being a singer but experience is SUPER important and colleges give you next to no experience#and you're so freaking busy in college that you have zero time or energy to even practice your craft#like the reason young artist programs exist is because they don't do that stuff in college#people spend a load of money on a college education that will make them fill their degree with useless GEs and electives#and then they have to spend even more money getting actual necessary stage experience#uh oh. I'm having opinions again#barring that college kind of sucked for me specifically lol#school and I didn't get along#asks

sitting on my hands so hard every time I see a tmagp theory post based on inaccurate information because it's impolite to constantly tell random people on the internet that they're wrong and it is in fact completely normal to not have encyclopedic knowledge about these podcasts and I, magnus trivia marina, am the outlier in this situation
#for my own sanity. a few things:#from a q&a stream we know tim fearon is going to be playing augustus#the magnus institute in this universe was in manchester not london and ran 'educational programs' and burnt down in 1999#sam (and gerry) (and maybe alice) were involved in these educational programs during young childhood#in mag 114 the statement giver had never heard of the magnus institute despite being v familiar with the area of london it was in#tmagp#marina marvels at life

Learn how to explore a grid and find a goal point with breadth first search in this pathfinding tutorial. You will use Processing and Java to code the breadth first search pathfinding algorithm and create a graphical demo so you can see it in action.
In the last tutorial, we programmed depth first search and watched it explore a node graph. In this tutorial we will program breadth first search and watch it explore a grid.
The breadth first search algorithm will add every unexplored adjacent node to a queue, and explore all of the added nodes in sequence. For each node explored, it will continue to add the adjacent unexplored nodes to the queue. It will continue to do this until the goal is found or all connected nodes have been explored.
